Check your pacing on Transactions

The green/red banner at the top tells you exactly how much you need today to hit your weekly goal. Income on the left, expenses on the right.

Log your miles on Gig Dashboard

Tap + Log Miles after each shift. IRS rate ($0.725/mi for 2026) is applied automatically and syncs to Tax Tools.

Enter your W-2 in Tax Tools

If you have a day job, enter your W-2 wages in the green banner. This keeps your self-employment tax estimate accurate — W-2 is excluded automatically.

Go to Settings → Export Backup. It saves a dated JSON file (like gigbase-backup-2026-03-24.json) to your Downloads folder. This file is fully portable — you can restore it on any device, any computer, any browser. Just open Settings on the new device, tap ⬆ Import JSON, pick the file, and all your data comes back. No cloud, no servers, no accounts. Keep your backup file somewhere safe: USB drive, Google Drive, or email it to yourself. Back up at least once a month!
